"Sootleaf, I can't go on like this......." Cloudsinger whispered.

"We can! We can get through this together!" Sootleaf said firmly.

"I have to do what's right for my clan..." he said turning to the lake "We can not be together...." his voice cracked.

"I love you, you know that right?" Sootleaf said quietly

"Yes, I know, I watch this rugged terrian unfold...and wish you could always be beside me.
